Its sheer size IMPRESSIVE: 40 km2 of total surface area, including lagoons, for just 0.196 km2 of land area.
While at first glance these waters seem devoid of life, these lagoons are teeming with endemic species: majestic turtles move gracefully, while rays glide and sharks zigzag through the small amount of water that surrounds these little bits of land.
