History of the series

From the southern islands of the Seychelles to the islands of Zanzibar, they are endemic to these insular zones and are found mainly in tropical and subtropical regions.
Discreet, they seek shade under velvet trees to shelter from the blazing equatorial sun. They seek their food in the flowers.

Lively, they also flutter around to feed on small insects. Females are often dull in color: gray, brown or olive. Males are more eye-catching, with bright, pearly colors that vary according to the orientation of the light. Their pigmentation can also depend on their diet.
